The agency closely cooperate with local authorities, local communities and educational organizations. Due to our activities local activists have the opportunity to get acquainted with the best European practices and find partners and investors.
Project Small city – a magnet for investors, increasing the investment potential of small cities of Ukraine
The aim of the project is increasing the investment potential of 50 Ukrainian cities and encourage of foreign investors to the choice of small cities in Ukraine as a place for their investments.
During the project the following events took place:
1. Two-day trainings in June 2014 for 80 participants from 50 cities in 4 cities (Lviv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa).
2. Distance learning for 80 representatives from 50 cities.
3. Development of investment passports and its translation to English.
4. Study tour to Poland for participation in international conferences, Poland (Warsaw, Krakow, Tarnow, Dobczyce, Myslenice, Krynica Zdroj).
5. Development of brand book and guidelines on investment passport preparation.
Project City brand as a magnet for investors. The project was aimed to support small cities in Ukraine (from 10 to 50 thousand inhabitants). Using Polish experience, project tried to share in Ukraine the best solutions and necessary knowledge.
The main aim of the project was to attract potential investors to small cities in Ukraine, promotion and advertising of small Ukrainian cities as comfortable and attractive places to start a business and spread a positive image of small cities and their representation at the international arena.
Project Creation of Agency for local development in Sambor to support entrepreneurship and cooperation with Polish partners to develop the city’s economy, that was realized in cooperation with the Association for Innovation and Technology Transfer “Horizons” (Poland), Sambor City Council. Project Training of local government of Rivne district for implementation of investment projects and management of public services by the formula of public-private partnership, that was realized in cooperation with the Centre PPP (Warsaw, Poland). Duration: March-December 2014. The project was implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland under the “Polish Aid for Development 2014”.
