Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020) – in addition to the private investment that this money will attract. It promises more breakthroughs, discoveries and world-firsts by taking great ideas from the lab to the market.
Our team is experienced in implementation of FP6, FP7 projects.
The Agency has been involved as a partner in two FP7-ICT projects:
- PICTURE (Policy dialogue in ICT to an Upper level for Reinforced EU-EECA Cooperation, contract 288279, 01/12/2011-31/05/2014)
- EECA-2-HORIZON (Bringing the EU-EECA cooperation and policy dialogue in ICT in the HORIZON 2020 era, contract 610793, 01/02/2014-31/07/2016)
that aims to reinforce the development of strategic and mutually beneficial partnerships between the EU and the Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) countries in the field of ICT.
Project “Development of a network of information exchange on science-education programmes of European Union” was held in 2012. Furthermore, we performed a subcontract work within START FP7-INCO project that includes training and promotional assistance.
AEI initiated the creation and chairs the Cluster of energy efficiency and renewable energy of Lviv region.
AEI performs a coordinating role within a cluster ICT of Ukrainian national technology platform “AGRO-FOOD”.

We act as national contact point of ICT and SME in Ukraine.
We also manage LinkedIn group Ukraine in the Horizon 2020.
We are open for collaboration under the Horizon 2020 programme mainly in areas of ICT, Renewable Energy, Agricultural, Food, R&D, SME, Health, Creativity.
Ukraine is an associated country in Horizon2020 and it is a good place for implementation of best EU practices.
