Project EECA-2-HORIZON (FP7-ICT) “Bringing the EU-EECA cooperation and policy dialogue in ICT in the HORIZON 2020 era”The overall aim of the project is to engage the EU and EECA stakeholders from across research, academia, industries, government and civil society to enrich and support the EU-EECA ICT Policy Dialogue, and to reinforce strategic partnerships between EU and EECA ICT organizations.

2015

faradayProject FARADAY “Building of permanent mechanisms for cross-border cooperation in the field of RES”, was supported by the CBC Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2007-2013. The aim of the project is improving the conditions for the development and use of renewable energy sources in the two regions covered by the project contributing to the socio-economic development of “Krośnieńsko-przemyski” Subregion in Poland and Lviv District in Ukraine through the implementation of a joint initiative of institutions supporting the development of RES.

As a result, a series of informational and promotional activities were held; a permanent and portable exhibitions of renewable energy sources were equipped; and cluster of “Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy of Lviv district” was founded.

Project “Strengthening the capacity of state and local governments of Ukraine to implement solutions for energy efficiency and promote renewable energy sources in municipal supplies with special emphasis on buildings and public buildings and apartment buildings”, that was realized in cooperation with the Institute for Energy (Poland, Warsaw). Project “Implementation of solutions for energy efficiency in Tlumach area with the use of renewable energy sources”, which was implemented in cooperation with the Association for Innovation and Technology Transfer “Horizons” (Poland), Tlumach district of Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. Project START (FP7-Capacities) “Boosting EU-Ukraine cooperation in the field of superhard materials”. START aims at reinforcing the collaboration among research teams from the EU and Ukraine active in the domain of High Pressure Physics and Technology and its application areas in the various thematic areas of FP7/HORIZON2020, with special focus on the field of Superhard Materials.

Project “Embark on the virtual highway to endless opportunities in your future business!” that was realized in cooperation with the Polish Foundation for Communication (Warsaw, Poland). Project Small city – a magnet for investors, increasing the investment potential of small cities of Ukraine
The aim of the project is increasing the investment potential of 50 Ukrainian cities and encourage of foreign investors to the choice of small cities in Ukraine as a place for their investments.

Project Creation of Agency for local development in Sambor to support entrepreneurship and cooperation with Polish partners to develop the city’s economy, that was realized in cooperation with the Association for Innovation and Technology Transfer “Horizons” (Poland), Sambor City Council. Project Training of local government of Rivne district for implementation of investment projects and management of public services by the formula of public-private partnership, that was realized in cooperation with the Centre PPP (Warsaw, Poland). Duration: March-December 2014. The project was implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland under the “Polish Aid for Development 2014”.

Project “Public monitoring of the formation, execution and reporting of local budgets of Lviv region”, which was implemented in October 2013 and June 2014 for the support of the International Foundation “Renaissance”. Aim: hold public and expert monitoring of the budget process in cities of Lviv region (Boryslav, Drohobych, Morshyn, Novyi Rozdil, Sambir, Stryi, Truskavets, Chervonograd and the city of Lviv, a regional center) to assess the effectiveness of the use of resources, the impact of the introduction of program-budgeting and developing methods assessing the effectiveness of public monitoring of local budgets. Conduct a broad public discussion of the results and create a package of proposals and recommendations to address identified deficiencies. Project materials.

2013

Project City brand as a magnet for investors. The project was aimed to support small cities in Ukraine (from 10 to 50 thousand inhabitants). Using Polish experience, project tried to share in Ukraine the best solutions and necessary knowledge.

Project Development of a network of information exchange on science-education programmes of European Union by the support of International Renaissance Foundation The project provided a common information area in Ukraine regarding the opportunities of participation in different science-education EU programmes on the base of agreed information-consultative activity of experts that had an experience of participation in these programmes and a wide number of interested persons and organizations.

2012

AEI has great experience in Polish Aid projects. During 2010-2015 AEI team performed 22 projects which were aimed at implementing solutions to improve energy efficiency, youth development and capacity building of local government.
