Scope & results

The aim of the project was to provide the public and local administration of Ukraine with knowledge and experience in the rational management of district heating at the city, district and oblast level, as well as the effective use of renewable energy sources.

The activities of the project focused on the problems of implementing the provisions of national and EU law and the preparation of procedures facilitating effective planning of heat supply. They included support in the development of a standard catalog of projects reducing heat consumption in buildings and the construction of variant heat balances of the city before and after the implementation of projects that save heat consumption.
