The aim of the project is to hold public and expert monitoring of the budget process in cities of Lviv region (Boryslav, Drohobych, Morshyn, Novyi Rozdil, Sambir, Stryi, Truskavets, Chervonograd and the city of Lviv, a regional center) to assess the effectiveness of the use of resources, the impact of the introduction of program-budgeting and developing methods assessing the effectiveness of public monitoring of local budgets. Conduct a broad public discussion of the results and create a package of proposals and recommendations to address identified deficiencies.
