Scope & results

The main goal of the “City brand as a magnet for investors” project was to encourage potential investors to choose small towns from Ukraine (10-50 thousand inhabitants) as a location for investment, popularization and promotion of Ukrainian small towns as a convenient and attractive place to undertake business and investment activities, creating and disseminating positive image of small towns as attractive in the international arena.

One of the most important factors of economic stabilization in Ukraine is the favorable investment climate. Currently, the scope of international economic cooperation and the size of foreign investments are still too small and do not match the needs of the Ukrainian economy. Small cities in Ukraine have significant untapped potential and many opportunities to create good conditions for business.

To make it possible, they must know their strengths, know what actions to take to attract contractors and investors. They should have a professional investment offer, make it available to appropriate entities and, above all, promote it well. Properly prepared staff of public officials will allow for increasing and tightening cooperation between small towns and investors.
