Ukraine has declared its intention to obtain the status of an associated country. However, the conclusion of this agreement is possible only after the formal approval of Horizon Europe by the Council of Europe and the European Parliament. Currently, technical negotiations are underway with the EC on the terms of Ukraine’s accession to the next Horizon Europe framework program. Preliminary agreements have been reached that Ukraine will have transitional conditions when joining the new framework program. That is, Ukrainians will be able to participate in Horizon Europe and Euratom competitions from the beginning of their official launch.
Agency of European Innovations is a research and consultancy organization that acts as an innovation bridge between science, business, authorities and other stakeholders. AEI is a multidisciplinary team specialized in the project management, analytical studies, dissemination, communication and public engagement, using products such as social media, art, video, web, graphic design, creative campaigns, publications, press releases, outreach activities, events and much more. AEI works with many different public and private institutions in Ukraine, Europe and Eastern Partnership countries and has wide experience in managing national and international projects in the areas of ICT, R&D, Health, Renewable Energy, Security, Creative Industry, Education, Agricultural, Food. AEI coordinated a H2020 cascade funding project “Hub laboratory of Internet of Things”, and as the result the first and only Hub of IoT was established in Ukraine which is presented in the European Hubs catalogue.
AEI is actively involved in civil society. AEI is a member of national platform for the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum and member of Civil Society Platform on Implementation of the Agreement on EU-Ukraine Association.
AEI has experience in three FP7 projects and two HORIZON 2020 projects. We also provide consulting and information support to Ukrainian and European organizations in preparing project proposals for future HORIZON EUROPE calls.
